What am I?

{I want to make a place where you can be anything you want to and then somebody has to guess what you are. There are a few rules like no swearing or being something disgusting. is that understood? Ok I'll go first.}

I look at the mountians in the distance. That is a long way to fly, I couldn't make it the before sunrise. I need to get to my cave to sleep. My brothers and sisters will be waiting for me all asleep on the roof of the cave. When I enter they will all open there little yellow eyes and sare me down asking where I went. I will always say "I went to feed" before going to my perch to sleep the day away. Then nightfall will come and I can fly the night once more.

thats easy, you were a vampy bat! you couldnt have been a normal bat, or you wouldnt have said "I went to feed".

Ok this might be hard:

I am the light, the night's light, the everlasting glow over a blanket of darkness. I have many little children, twinkling an shining just as brightly as I do, but no where near as special. Many stories have been told of me, many special myths too. I control the Gental tides, the raging waters below, pusihing and pulling them in and out. However, when my sister rises, I must leave, to return again later and watch over the children of the night.

My story possesses many childrens minds
and eagerly they beg me to remain.
My features, small and slender, the most fines,
My voice the tinkling sound of fading rain.

Rumour has it I´m a "luck-thief",
I´m often captured, so it does not fade,
in an empty jar of marmelade.
And only after hours of debate,
the pirates agree to let me leave.

My best friend, who´s never aging,
he lives with me and others on this isle.
And so, in his ever boyish style,
he enjoys his life that´s never fading.

this is easy (I know alot about this object lol)

I am rare in beauty, and shared amongst loved ones.
I come in many different colors, each color a different meaning.
when I am Red, I represent Love and beauty.
when Im white, I represent eternity and youth.
When Im pink, i represent grattitude and grace.
when i am yellow, i represent happiness and friendship.
and when I am black, I represent a farewell and death.

If you are given two of me, that is the signal of a coming marriage.

In latin My name means Red.

Wow... I think yours is very hard and I think I need a little more time to reflect on it...
Can´t be a ring with all the colours... I thought of a rose but two roses aren´t a sign of s coming marriage... and red in latin is ruber or rubens or rubicundus.... I´m confused....

I was a Rose, I looked it up on google literally the name Rose (not the word, the name) means red, and according to a bridal store that I found, two roses is the coming of a marriage
